Within the framework of the "Strengthening the Media and Civil Society in Mongolia" (MACSS) project, implemented by the Asia Foundation with financial support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as part of the American people’s assistance, the Press Institute is conducting training sessions to enhance knowledge and understanding of media and information literacy among rural CSOs.
As part of this initiative, a training session for CSO representatives from the central region was held on September 21-22 in Darkhan-Uul province. Participants from Selenge, Bulgan, Orkhon, and Darkhan-Uul provinces attended the training.
The session aimed to deepen participants' knowledge of the fundamental concepts, requirements, and importance of media and information literacy. It also explored the differences between traditional and new media, along with information ethics and the development of critical thinking skills. Additionally, participants learned practical skills in content creation, including podcasting, photography, and poster design.
